Sleeves vs Sleeveless Wedding Gowns.

I've been wanting to write about it but finally remembered due to a picture i saw. Sleeveless gowns are okay, flattering to only those that understand what complements there body type especially if they are top heavy. I think gowns with sleeves look nice or even better with some wedding gowns without sleeves. I had a couple of brides complain that every gown they like was either a strapless or sleeveless gown but they wanted it with sleeves instead.

There are may factors at play - age, shape, climate, personal morality. Some may even take into the venue (i have several christian friends who wouldn't wear a strapless gown in church)...

There are a lot of misconceptions - I have a big busted girlfriend ( was a DD at her last fitting) and the best dresses that she tried on were in fact strapless. Get the underwear right and you can wear strapless even above a D-cup!if underwear is uncomfortable it is because it doesn't fit properly -I always advice my brides (yes you have to because most of them are unware) to get there bras properly fitted atleast 6 months and then another fitting at the final fitting to make sure everything still fits right. You can wear bustiers, corsets, slimming body suits, and if it is of good quality not once will you feel uncomfortable.
Royals like Catherine wore sleeves because she had to - its a royal tradition that they be modestly dressed.Catherine's dress was actually very clever because the lace gave her the modesty while still showing off a bit of skin.
As long as the bride is comfortable and loves her dress, and knows how to rock it with confidence that's all that matters.

Below are some eye candy samples of both sleeves and sleeveless:

This is something the royals would wear. lovely all the same.

Different look with the cap sleeves and sheer back.

Love the cut on this dress.
