Trash the dress: I don’t know how many brides have the heart to do this, but I was surprised with the few brides that did have the guts to go through with it.
Candy/ Sweet bar: Instead of the regular chocolate fountain and wedding cake. A lot of brides were going with the sweet bar with lots of dessert, candies and even ice cream. Instead of a huge wedding cake a couple would have a single tier to cut for pictures and have a variety of red velvet, carrot cake, apple pie and the list goes on.
By invite only: apart from the few American weddings I do which most go by invite only. My African clients are enforcing it more than ever. Before it used to an issue to enforce, but with much fancier venues with costly per head count you cannot avoid having a guest list by invite only.
Led/White dance floor: it gives an ambiance of elegance to any event. One cannot resist getting on such a beautiful dance floor, especially if it is illuminated with led lights.
Destination weddings: Dubai, Malta, Italy, South Africa, Cayman Island. That’s another way to avoid a huge guest list for just an small and intimate wedding.
Non floral centerpieces: Crystals, Branches, fruits and feathers.
