Eye Candy Wednesday: Silk vs Fresh Flowers.

Hey people it's eye candy wednesday! I have some few tips, ideas and questions to ask for the do-it-yourself-bride. So let's get right to it. Working with flowers has always been a joy to behold. They come in so many colors, textures and fragrant scents. Thank God for flowers!  I will be listing the advantges, disadvantages, tips and ideas all rolled into one below for both silk and fresh flowers.

Silk Flowers;
1) A very reliable source for decorating ( you can set them up months in advance before the event)
2) Can look tacky if not chosen well
3) Are easier to transport (can place them in clear plastic container and just straighten when time to set-up)
4) Lack no fragrance or sent whatsoever.
5) Don't have to worry about allergies.

Fresh flowers;
1) Smell wonderful
2) Can be fragile to handle if not watered or fed properly.
3) Colors are unlimited, so you have a great selection to choose from.
4) For those allergic to flowers can be a big problem.
5) You really don't have to do much with fresh flowers because they are natural just a couple of stems in a vase is enough.

If you are a good do-it-yourself  putting your centerpieces together may not be a problem but can be a little stressful, only if you have the extra help.
I have attached some pictures below, according to the numbers which one is fresh and which is silk?
